Max Waszak was born and raised in Chapel Hill North Carolina, but has been proud to call Brooklyn his home since the summer of 2009.

He is a firm believer that better writing yields better theatre. As a result Max has long been most interested in older texts--not only classical, but anything written at a time when spoken language was a force to be reckoned with and nobody ever got dumped in a text message.

Max is also always extremely excited to cross swords on stage (or fists, staffs, axes, baseball bats, you name it). There's no getting around it...one of the most direct, clear methods of communication, whether on stage or day to day, is the fight. Whether executing or choreographing, he is always at home throwing down.
