Max played the title role in Theater at Monmouth's Shakespeare in Maine Communities Tour of Hamlet. This was one of several endeavors that kept him busy in Maine for nearly half of 2012.

Over the summer, he appeared there in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The First Part of King Henry IV and The Little Prince and just before that he wrapped up TaM's Page to Stage tour of Romeo and Juliet and The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship.
